Come out to Bear Branch Nature Center’s 9th Annual Monarch Madness. The festival will be held on Sunday, September 13 and will celebrate the amazing annual migration of Monarch butterflies to and from Mexico! CCLC will table at the festival, so be sure to stop by and chat!

Monarch Sister Schools Program is partnering up with Chesapeake Natives Inc. for a volunteer gardening day. To provide a helping hand for our native pollinators come out to Chesapeake Natives Nursery on Saturday, April 26th, from 9:00am-1:00pm. Help pot up seedlings and plugs. These plants will be used at schools and garden centers this Spring.
