Developed by the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council, Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, and Hirschman Water & Environment. Development of this white paper was supported by funding from the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Green Streets, Green Jobs, Green Towns (G3) program in 2026 and is available free to download.

The series is being presented by the Ecological Landscaping Association (ELA), the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council (CCLC), Midwest Ecological Landscape Alliance (MELA), & EcoLandscape California (ELC). Known regionally for their quality education programs, these organizations are working cooperatively to share knowledge and encourage conversations with landscape professionals from around the country and the globe.
